Please help by scheduling appointments around a feeding time. Allow for flexibility in the baby’s feeding. It should be no less than 90 minutes from the end of the previous feeding and no more than 2 hours. You want to be sure if you are pumping, that you do not pump within that time frame either. I work my day around the needs of the baby with the ability to change if necessary. Babies do not wait for me, I reschedule as needed within our time slot to allow the baby to be fed on cue.
There are forms that need to be filled out before our meeting. These are available online and sent to you. If you prefer to have your forms in paper, let me know and I will have them for you. Your baby should be in something easy to remove or just in a diaper for weighing and feeding.
Have a list of questions you want to make sure are answered. It helps to write them down so we are sure to discuss all of your concerns.
